  • Century Link Dishonset and NOT Helpful

    I have been trying for 4 months now to straighten out my bill. Everytime I call I get a differnet answer. I get passed back n forth to other people and departments.I have spent several hours on the phone and I am at my wits end. Nobody takes responsibility for their actions. My account has several notes about my billing problem yet eveytime I have to reexplain the problem. so frustrating!   • Charged for services I did not have

    By far the worse experience I've ever had. When I initially signed up for century link internet services I made it clear to the representative that I only wanted internet services which he stated would be in the neighborhood of $60-70 per month. I get my first bill a month later which was $212. I check the details of the statement and see I was charged for home phone services (I don't even own a home phone).     We called century link for internet service, the schedule an appointment and guess what they never showed up, they never called, nothing. We got so upset we called back within our 7 days as per Florida State Law and cancel. Since then we have received a bill for $205.54.   • Technician was a No Call/ No Show

    Received order confirmation advising that my service would be activated in 9 days and to be available between the hours of 12pm and 4pm. I contact Century Link customer service at 5pm on the 9th day only to be bounced around 3 different departments incurring 45 minutes of wait time. I was told there was an issue with a "missing part" when the technician went out into the field.   • Worst customer service ever!

    I have tried twice now to disconnect my service after two years because I am moving out of state. Both times I received excuses why their system could not perform the request. I asked to have a note put on my account and the guy said I can continue to call back until their system is up, calling me a liar that I was not goin to have a phone! Hello?! I'm moving and their phone see that I have been paying for over two years has never worked. He was rude and disrespectful.     In my life I have never experiened such terrible ustomer service, On Friday, 6/19 Century Link was to send a technician to connect internet services on the outside of my house. I had also scheduled a tech to come on Saturday, 6/20 to make sure that I had installed everything correctly. I came home Friday evening and found a CenturyLink modem sitting at my doorstep.   • worst service ever

    I signed up for century link prism the other day and after a week of waiting they finally installed my internet and tv service. This was a Saturday. 4 days later I came home and found that my cable and internet was not working so I called tech support. It took over 20 minutes to figure out who I was and another hour to figure out why my service wasn't working... Century Link billing scheduled it for disconnection for absolutely no reason.   • unexplained bill now in colections

    I have not had century link for 9 months as far as I was aware I was all paid up on my bill under not contractual obligation at the time of my service termination. Then a few weeks ago I received a notice from a collection company stating I owed century link 75.43. I have spent an hour and a half today on the phone 10 minutes of that was talking to someone the rest listening to music cut in and out between a very loud and abrasive buzz.     After listening to your Prism commercial with the English bulldog and his family for the probably 50th time, I just had to write to tell you how heartbreaking I think this commercial is. Almost makes me cry everytime it's on, in fact, I mute it when it comes on. Anyone who knows ANYTHING about dogs knows how much they want to be with their pack.     We have been with Century Link for almost 3 years. What a mistake I made. Our internet only worked correctly about 15 days each month. I called customer service, and tech support hundreds of time over 3 years. Nothing was ever done. When we moved and had our service transferred, we had an appt for the tech to come out and hook our service up.   • Century Link and Direct TV bundling is a nightmare!

    Century Link is billing me for services that Direct TV didn't provide. Because I moved, Century Link closed my account and keeps sending me a bill for services not received. I conference called both companies and the result is I have to pay Century Link upfront and Direct TV will credit me in 2 months for the billing so long as I continue with their service which I don't need since cable is free in the new place I moved to.   • Century Link internet upgrade

    We've had 3 megabytes speed since 1996 through Telechoice - Qwest - Century LInk. Last February 2013 (almost one year ago), the fiberoptic cables were buried in our yard. The modem was installed in our garage. We were told the final hookup would be soon. It's now January 26th and we're still waiting. I've made at least 50 calls to Century Link in the past year. No one has an answer. They say they can't do the final installation until their records show the work has been done.   • Century Link Prism TV and Internet

    Your comment: Had century link for 6 months and had nothing but problems with dropped internet signals, freezing tv shows and, malfunctioning DVR's. The only thing trained customer service techs could advise was to reboot the system. Was rebooting every few days!!
