Your comment: Had century link for 6 months and had nothing but problems with dropped internet signals, freezing tv shows and, malfunctioning DVR's. The only thing trained customer service techs could advise was to reboot the system. Was rebooting every few days!! Then I had to move and due to being under contract I scheduled a time to move my service. They initally told me that I could not get their service at my new address, then said never mind I could. Tech comes out on installadtion day and after 2 1/2 hours tells me that he cannot give me service unless my landlord rewires the whole house. Says the house is not wired properly for their service and the phone lines need to be rerun. Of course, the landlord thought I was crazy. So I call Century Link to cancel my service since I cannot get it at the house and they tell me that I have to pay the early cancellation fee since my landlord wont do the rewire to make the house compatible with their service. WHAT?? So I do everything I can to take their service with me and they want to charge me an early cancellation fee because their tech could not get my service activated at my residence. They told me I was responsible for my landlord not wanting to rewire the house for them so I must pay. I of course disagreed with this at which point the customer service rep just said "i am not going argue with you when you sign a contract you are responsible" proceeded to tell me my service would be turned off as of 5pm that day and disconnected. Still waiting to get a final bill, but since they originally told me their service was NOT available at my new house then sent a tech anyways to try to make it work, this sounds very fishy.
