I signed up for century link prism the other day and after a week of waiting they finally installed my internet and tv service. This was a Saturday. 4 days later I came home and found that my cable and internet was not working so I called tech support. It took over 20 minutes to figure out who I was and another hour to figure out why my service wasn't working... Century Link billing scheduled it for disconnection for absolutely no reason. How is that even possible? 4 days and they already disconnected my service. What's worse is the technician said there was absolutely nothing that they could do to turn my service back on. I would have to call back and speak with customer service. What company doesn't offer 24 hour support? I'll tell you... Century Link... Disappointed I ended the call and called back in the morning and spoke with a gentleman named Cody. I was told there was absolutely no reason that my account was disconnected and that it must have accidentally been disconnected. He then said in order to fix this he would need to cancel my account then create a brand new account. Then dropped another bombshell... I would have to wait 6 more days without service because they needed to send a tech to professionally install the equipment that was already sitting in my house already installed.. I informed him that was unacceptable so after an hour and a half he promised me my service would be reconnected the by time I got home from work. Flash forward 11 hours later, I get home from work and still have no service. I immediately called tech support and was told they could not help, I would need to call customer service. So I did and was informed the department I needed to speak to was closed. I could either wait for the morning or 6 more days. I immediately cancelled my service. I will never do business with these jokers again.
